Part 4: APPLIED ANATOMY: Observe asymmetry in different bodies, analyze & understand where a body’s strengths & weaknesses are, learn how to develop a plan to help students find balanced physical practice

The Kava Yoga 300 hours Teacher Training is presented in 4 parts. Two parts are presented per year; 300 hours can be completed over the course of 2 years.

Part 2: TECHNIQUES TRAINING (112 hours) Analytical training/Guided practice of techniques- $,1600

Break down intermediate and advanced asana i.e. arm balances, seated twists, drishtis

Teaching Restorative & Pre/Post Natal postures

Teaching partner postures constructively

Watch your fellow participants assist and practice teach the material; group critique

Part 4: APPLIED ANATOMY (54 hours) Observing different body types - $700

Observe asymmetry in different bodies, analyze & understand where a body’s strengths & weaknesses are, learn how to develop a plan to help students find balanced physical practice

Research assigned injuries, diseases, conditions (i.e. pre-natal post-natal)

Present additional findings from student teachers’ own independent research to Trainers. Includes sequencing instruction, practice teaching, group critique

Assist and apprentice with Teacher Trainers Cindy Zackney and Andrea Morgan

Part 3: THE ART OF TEACHING TEACHING METHODOLOGY (92 hours) - $1,250

Advanced adjustments taking students into deeper poses

Advanced Sequencing – Exploring more subtle peak poses. Learn to incorporate themes & spiritual messages into sequencing

Sequencing for the Ayurveda Seasons, learn to observe doshas in your students, suggest asana, breath, themes by season

Finding your Niche: Design and deliver your own workshop
